This holiday cottage, sleeps 6 and is situated in the small hamlet of Stonethwaite, Borrowdale, at the foot of the two lovely valleys of Langstrath and Greenup Gill. The cottage is in the heart of the Lake District, some 7 miles from Keswick. Being so centrally situated, it is ideally suited for climbing, walking and sight seeing holidays. There are a number of walks that can be enjoyed that start from the front door. It is suitable for holidays throughout the year as there is a real fire for cosy winter evenings.

The Cottage, together with lawn and parking space for 3 cars, stands in a dry stone walled enclosure. It is fully furnished and well equipped for self catering although there are many nearby traditional inns serving excellent local cuisine.
